The Event\Exhibition started off with the skateboarding best trick comps. Here Khulu puts down a hard flip back tail going up on the big box.
In the final moments Yann Horowitch put the nail in the coffin with a gap to front smith wallie’ thing and that was all she wrote.
The winners of the main best trick comp on the street course, Khulu and Yann with their RVCA gear vouchers and his custom art trophy.
The Meditators reggae band was jamming for about 3 hours; there were lots of kyk-daars’ from the mall stopping off for a quick skank'.
After the best trick comps we had a massive game of S.K.A.T.E with all the lighties’ and gave out sticker that went faster than melting wax on a hot summer day.
The Broken Skateboard Art was on display all over the place; hanging from the walls, going up the stairs and arranged in a taped off area along the back wall. Over 40 artists were involved.
Another terrific art piece done by an international artist hailing from Long Beach, California David Matthew Wright (DMWRIGHT).
