The BOMBsurf is a media company owned and run by ourselves, John McCarthy and Iain Evans. We are 2 surfers who have worked in surf media for the last 6 years and are passionate about creating unique surfing content that features South African Surfing in a global context.
Our media platforms consist of this website, a quarterly coffee-table styled book that is sent to our subscribers and an email newsletter that is delivered to our digital subscriber base.
John is primarily involved in the editorial of theBOMBsurf, while Iain runs the business side of things. Subscriptions and online retail is handled by Mark Shepperson, and the magazines and digital design is by freelance designer and photographer Jon Ivins. All digital development is by Patrick Kraus of Roundbox.
