Hi Athalia and welcome to the BOMBshell interview. We know that you now live in Cape Town, but you are originally from a klein dorpie Northwest of JHB called Fochville. How does life in CT compare to life in Fochville?

Hi John, thanks for having me, it's nice to be here. Yes, Fochville is indeed a very small town. Life here in CT is so different compared to how it was back home. CT is so chilled and it has got the most amazing vibe that made me feel right at home.

As a model what do you do when you encounter shoots that are difficult either because you are working with an incompetent photographer or a client who doesn’t know what they want?

I immediately sum up the vibe of the situation and work around what I can influence. Usually it's easy to tell if a
person is outgoing (which helps a lot to make a model feel welcome and comfortable) or if the photographer just does their own thing. You also just have to relax and live in the moment

We don’t know too many of our BOMBshells that are keen fisher(wo)men, but we have it on good advice that you are quite handy with a rod. How did you get into fishing and where is your favourite place to fish?

Well I must admit that I am about the only girl I know that wouldn't mind challenging a guy to a fishing competition ha-ha. I have got two older brothers who absolutely love to fish and as a kid my parents would take us fishing on family holidays, so fishing has always been a part of my life. I like to go both deep-sea fishing and to catch from the beach. It's easier and at the same time you have the chance to catch an amazing tan.
