The man who invents night vision contact lenses will be forever welcome on the North Shore.

Love em or hate em, Sunsets are a amazing, why would you ever hate em.

Damien Fahrenfort joined the island to get a few waves while topping up his tan.

I have had the honour of going to the thahetentrigel foudation gala for the past four years now and it is such a joy to see such honourable and wonderful people to give such a deserving crisis intervention the help and honour it so muchly is needed i too am a surivor and with such wonderful people as the mazzaferro family and all of the beautiful people on the angel foudation team it has truly been a honour to be in your presence.At the begining of my journey with this family at the first gala was a presentation of a beautiful centrepiece on each table i truly bealeive a gift of love because as you looked upon it there was an agel right in the centre of it i had the fourtune to be able to bring this home with me after the gala that night and the angel was the beautiful angela in my heart and eyes, to hard to beleive but true i placed the angel on my car interior rear view mirror and in all my travels which are alot i took her presence with me then and now where ever i go she has become my silent angel a gift of love to be spread far and wide to angela in all the heavens and earth you will never be forgotten nor will never stop to bring peace and love into everyones life god bless little angel.

The second Kushai’gagasi Umthombo contest was a huge success!

If you are a surf traditionalist, maybe this isn’t the band for you. However, if you generally like the sounds surf music and heavier rock, then this “mongrel mix” would be good in your collection. The video for Swell arriving at Pipeline Masters has been failing to play for your last two issues of the Bomb, It say "task queue failed at step 5: Playlist could not be loaded due to crossdomain policy restrictions?? Small waves mean you relax a little, putting your feet up means different things for different folks.

Travis Logie achieved an equal 25th in the VANS World Cup of Surfing at Sunset Beach.

Nursing an injured heel Jordy Smith still placed equal 9th at Sunset.

Shying away from the contests Rudy Palmboom has been doing his freesurf thing, this day at Ehukai Beach Park.

Shaun Joubert has been trying this nose stabbing tail pops quite a bit, here at Rocky Lefts.

Ehukai Beach Park is the go to place on small days, Travis putting the breaks on.

Something trippy was going on in the clouds this particular evening, it wasn't a rainbow and a wasn't a UFO.

RIP Taryn Pratt ( nee Warner).

Taryn passed away this morning after a long, brave battle with cancer.
She truly was a special person.

A wonderful wife, mother and daughter and a trusted friend she was always positive, inspirational, loving, supportive and happy.
Taryn was someone who lived life to the full.

Our condolences and thoughts are with Shane and their children and with Greg and Debbie, her mom and dad.

She will be missed.

Week 5 on The Rock.

Believe it or not, Turtles seek refuge in the Waimea rocks ... when it's flat.

Flat days are good to practice your breath hold.

Joeskateapoollooks like an amazing thing to epirexence and be involved in,Im in Colorado so I ride concrete waves. Ill go to Hawaii one year and learn and practice for a long time,get a job,smoke weed and surf,dont forget skating!
