Thank you to all our readers, contributors and advertisers for another incredible year!
We wish you cooking surf and happy, safe holidays with your families and friends.
We’ll be chilling too, back at work on the 14th of January.


We are stoked to keep print as part of our mix and bring you Issue 16.
We love doing this coffee table styled publication and look forward to bringing you two more beautiful collectors issues next year.


www.thegreenersurfer.com was a huge inspiration and great learning experience.
Watch this space for some innovative, interesting and inspiring developments next year.


The Goddess Islands Movie Premiered last week at The Wavescapes Film Festival in CT.
No DVD’s for sale and no youtube. This BOMBsurf production will live screenings only and will be touring the country in April next year with some of the bands featured in the soundtrack, stay tuned for details.


The second Kushai’gagasi Umthombo contest was a huge success!
Congratulations to all of the surfers, especially Sihle Mbutho the winner. Thank you to Surfing South Africa, Umthombo and Mark Snowball for helping to make this happen. We’ll be back bigger and better next year with a new inclusive format and some exciting surprises.

If you are a surf traditionalist, maybe this isn’t the band for you. However, if you generally like the sounds surf music and heavier rock, then this “mongrel mix” would be good in your collection. Plus, just think about the reaction when you lay it on your friends by telling them you’ve found this great Australian surf rock band. http://surfguitar101.com/forums/topic/20309/
