Hi Dani and welcome to the BOMBshell interview. When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?

Summer, beach, bikini's = my FAV!

Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?

Well firstly be careful when purchasing white bikini's, once wet they tend to become transparent. I would personally avoid white at all costs but, if you absolutely HAVE to have it- then make sure it's not showing your "bits" when wet. I also try and avoid the bikini's with the shoe-lace ties- the tend to untie so make sure you double-knot them! ;)

Boardshorts on guys, above or below the knee?

Neither. Try and aim for exactly on the upper rim of your knee. If its below the knee its a tad geeky, as if you're still growing to fill it. And more than 2/3 fingers above the knee makes me think - "Borat". So try and find that happy medium.

If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?

As fun as the Alaia sounds, I think I'd go for the old school longboard - safe, fun and a little easier to manage than the high performance short board!

Lets talk epic beach party’s for a moment... A full moon rising over the sea, sundowners, a mellow jam session (who would be playing?), what would it take to escalate into the mother of all beach parties?

To escalate this beach party to the mother of all parties, it would take hundreds of awesome, fun, chilled friends all just having a good time. An awesome DJ/Artist (Either playing electro or something that gets everyone dancing) and a huuuuuuuge bar tab ;)

Skinny-dipping, yes or no?

Depends ;)

If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?

Uhmmmm Spongebob and Patrick :) haha I'd just LOVE to run around care-free and doing reckless things (with no permanent consequences) for a day.

If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?

I would most definitely do something about sewerage deposits in our oceans! Its disgusting and harming our beautiful sea creatures, not to mention making our oceans toxic!

Thank you Dani we look forward to seeing you on the beach soon or maybe riding your Long board at a surf break nearby soon. For being so cool we’re stoked to offer you a free surfing lesson from Learn 2 Surf (just call Ant on 083 4140567 or check out www.learn2surf.co.za and hope to see you out there helping to make our lineups more beautiful than they already are.

Dear P.,Sorry I have not been entertaining! I'm relaly glad you are reading. I was a little pressed for time on the last posting. But let me tell you there is always something interesting happening at the Argosy. We just had Turkey Rod Run and all these buildings built in 1953 were remembering the way it was when they were new. The antique cars just took them back in time. We have pics of when the motel was new. We'll be posting it as soon as we can. The Argosy looked just like those old pics just days ago during the Thanksgiving Holiday. The whole town was full of old cars and people that love them. It was great!Sincerely,Sharon, one half of the beach bums

Hi Abigail and welcome to the BOMBshell interview. When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?

Barrels and Indonesia :)

Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?

Hehe, okay well if u have a bum to pull of the Brazilian bikini bottom then do it (most surfer chicks do) If not then just stick to what works with your body shape, for example don't wear a teeny tiny bikini top if u have enormous boobs, its not classy rather wear something with a nice underwire and get a good cleavage :) A full piece also always looks good with a nice low back!

Boardshorts on guys, above or below the knee?

Good legs: Both, if he has good legs he can rock the short shorts.

Bad legs: Stick to knee length.

If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?

A modern high performance short board :)

Epic beach party oooh now u talking :) Who would be playing, if it where to start of as a mellow jam session, I'm gonna say some chilled reggae, some old school, little bit of heazer and then all it would take is some Fabio and Moon and then just more trance, my mates and the party would escalate. I mean its on the beach, there is a full moon rising, right there is your answer :)

Skinny-dipping, yes or no?

  yes.

If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?

A shark just to get to understand it as I don't and they scare me. I would also love to swim with whales and dolphins, I guess many people would though :)

If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?

The oil spills need to end I would make a contribution to that.
The culling of dolphins, I would make a contribution to put an end to it as it is barbaric!
I'd also try make people more aware about pollution on our beaches as it also effects harmless sea creatures that get stuck in plastic and other materials, try teach kids to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations.

Yes, she sure is growing up- emlinotaloy, intellectually and physically does a number on a mother's heart at times, I know. But I love the whole process because the end result is amazing Just look at the woman, wife and mother you've become! I predict the fruit will not fall far from the tree

I tuoghht it might be Metro, tuoghh it's been a while (a year?) since I've been there. Phx does better at accommodating toddlers than either Peoria or Glendale. We used to go to Glendale (the BEST librarians and selection of literature for children of all ages, IMO, but costs $40/year for non-Glendale residents). Then we went to Peoria, which has a new, attractive branch, and is free for us, but it has a meager selection of lit and absentee librarians. Now, we're at the new Agave branch at 37th Ave & Pinnacle Peak, and it's sort of a happy medium, but it sure does have a fabulous toddler/preschool play/read area.

I was just looking for this info for a while. After six hours of cionotunus Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the Google's problem that doesn't rank this kind of informative web sites closer to the top. Normally the top web sites are full of garbage.

Hi Karen and welcome to the BOMBshell interview. When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?

The very first thought that pops into my head is huge Hawaiian waves.

Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?

I think a girl should wear a swimming costume that is flattering for her figure. I don't particularly have thoughts on what works well and what should be avoided because we’re all different.

Boardshorts on guys, above or below the knee?

Hmm, I say on the knee. But if he has great legs, then definitely above ;)

If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?

I'd go for a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard.

Mi Casa or Goldfish would be playing! And to make it the best party ever, a guest appearance by Drake would do it all :)

Skinny-dipping, yes or no?

  Haha, yes!

If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?

How could you not want to spend time with a dolphin?

If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?

I would do an awareness program with certain communities on what polluting the beaches does to sea creatures.

Hi Leah and welcome to the BOMBshell interview. When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?

HAWAII and a bit of hoola music in the background. Ah yeeeah:) It would also have to be the accelerating feeling of being out in the open ocean away from the rest of the world, and just enjoying the waves and sun on your skin :)

Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?

I think there is nothing better then seeing a girl comfortable in her own skin:) I really like one pieces at the moment, especially with a low back. Bright colours are also a must when hitting the beach just to gain a little bit more attention ha ha. I definitely avoid strapless bikini tops, i have flashed the fish waaaaay too many times.

Above, especially if they have nice legs ;)

If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?

Modern high performance definitely! I have a need for speed.

Lets talk epic beach party’s for a moment... A full moon rising over the sea, sundowners, a mellow jam session (who would be playing?), what would it take to escalate into the mother of all beach parties?

Friends, a HUGE bonfire, a wee bit of rum (lets be pirates :D) marshmallows, skinny dipping before a shark attack and then some pumping music to jam too!! Goldfish I think would fit the scene pretttty well.

Skinny-dipping, yes or no?

Yes! Everyone has to do it.

If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?

I think a dolphin, and i know that is overboard cliché but I really do not like creepy sea creatures that live down below. Dolphins are sort of human like, and I think I would feel pretty safe if one were to surprise me.

If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?

That's a tough one. Ummm i think i would create an awareness group that helps with the preservation of marine life. We have taken such a passive stance towards our awareness of over fishing, its time we actually take action before it is too late.

Freedom, it feels like the only place I can escape.

Hmmm a sexy one piece or bikini is def. the way to go,avoid those horrible full two pieces, or a full costume with that built in skirt...gross.. Haha

130 pounds at 5ft2in is still a hehltay, normal weight. I read an interview from her where she said she was, a lot overweight. Please, her BMI was 23.8. That's hehltay. This sends out a really bad message about body image.

that Alexandra Burke did not sing live and I believe him to be corerct .Apparently, there is a technique where the singer re-records their single to sound slightly different and a bit more breathy than normal for use doing a live performance where bad singing is not an option. They sometimes leave a bit at the beginning or end so they can do a bit of warbling, which I think she did at the beginning. This allows the singer to *look* like they're singing but without the risk. This would explain how she was able to do a high impact dance routine (after which she admitted to being out of breath) and sing as if it took no effort.I feel very naive and indeed gullible.
