Hi Ashlea and welcome to theBOMBshell interview.
When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?
Hot guys with amazing bodies!.

Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?
If a girl is confident with herself and her body, she could get away with any type of costume. But g-strings on a beach is definately a no no.
Boardshorts on guys, above or below the knee?
Above, a bit of leg is always good.

If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?
A cruisy fun colourful old school longboard.
Lets talk epic beach party’s for a moment... A full moon rising over the sea, sundowners, a mellow jam session (who would be playing?), what would it take to escalate into the mother of all beach parties?
Fun people, clear skies, good music, awesome vibe, never ending cocktails, and jamming to the sound of Bob Marley (I'm a HUGE fan!)

Skinny-dipping, yes or no?
Depends on who I'm skinny dipping with.
If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?
Dolphins! (The dream of many I'm sure) I have always wanted to swim with dolphins, they are incredible animals!.

If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?
Put in place local cleanups along the beaches, to avoid paper, plastic, etc being washed into our seas, which would have a devastating effect on all marine life.

Thank you Ashlea we look forward to seeing you on the beach soon. For being so cool we’re stoked to offer you a free surfing lesson from Learn 2 Surf. Just call Ant on 083 4140567 or check out www.learn2surf.co.za

Hi Alexis and welcome to theBOMBshell interview. When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?
Sexy men, ripped bodies, and tan lines.

Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?
I think that it totally depends on each girls body, not everyone looks good in everything. You need to learn what looks good on your body….but guys in thongs….Never a good idea!
Boardshorts on guys, above or below the knee?
Either at the knee or just below.

If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?
Definitely an ancient Hawaiian, I have lived on the islands and those handmade boards are the best.
Lets talk epic beach party’s for a moment... A full moon rising over the sea, sundowners, a mellow jam session (who would be playing?), what would it take to escalate into the mother of all beach parties?
Michael Franti would be playing for sure, and it would take a bomb fire and some very wild people who just wanted to have fun.

Skinny-dipping, yes or no?
Is there any other way?
If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?
Dolphins for sure, I have had many experiences with Dolphins in the wild and they are such amazing animals.

If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?
I think that there is a large problem with garbage on the beaches and in our water. It would be great to organize quarterly beach cleanups. People giving their time to help preserve the future of our oceans.

Thank you Alexis we look forward to seeing you on the beach soon or maybe riding an Alaia at a surf break nearby soon. For being so cool we’re stoked to offer you a free surfing lesson from Learn 2 Surf (just call Ant on 083 4140567 or check out www.learn2surf.co.za). |
