Hi Frederique and welcome to theBOMBshell interview. When you think of surfing what is the very first thought that pops into your mind?
Having fun in the water, with nothing on your mind, feeling totally free.
Lets talk swimwear on girls, what do think works well and what should be avoided at all costs?
I go to the beach to relax or having fun with friends. Adapt your swimwear. What always works is a simple triangle bikini in a plain colour. Don't overdo, the 'less is more', if you know what I mean…
Boardshorts on guys, above or below the knee?
I like old-school boardshorts.
If you are/were a surfer what surfboard would you/do you ride? An ancient Hawaiian hand made wooden Alaia, a cruisy fun colourful old school longboard or a modern high performance short board?
I think a turtle is much cooler than a duck, so guess yourself ;)
Lets talk epic beach party’s for a moment... A full moon rising over the sea, sundowners, a mellow jam session (who would be playing?), what would it take to escalate into the mother of all beach parties?
Some nice rock or reggae, people who are close to me, fire and red wine. Let the good times roll.
Skinny-dipping, yes or no?
Yes can be fun with my boyfriend.
If you had the opportunity to spend time in the ocean with any sea creature what would it be and why?
Turtle (roll)
If you could make one contribution to help protect our marine and beach resources and preserve them for future generations what would it be?
Off the sand: Make wise seafood choices. Don't underestimate the impact of your dish. It affects overfishing, pesticides and bad stuff that end up in rivers and oceans. In the sand: Do I really have to say this? Some people should be ashamed!
